fIntroduction:
f
The Boston University College Republicans, a branch of the Massachusetts Alliance of College Republicans, is a student organization dedicated to promoting Republican and conservative ideology on campus. Whether through letters to the editor in the Daily Free Press, holding an event that explains our side of an issue, or bringing a conservative speaker to campus, we hope to raise the quality and diversity of political discourse on campus.

Besides promoting conservatism at BU, we seek to strengthen the Republican Party as a whole by assisting GOP candidates at all levels of government. From campaigning in New Hampshire for President Bush to volunteering at fundraisers for the Massachusetts Republican Party to interning at the State House, the BUCRs are active participants in Republican politics.

I would urge those conservative students who are looking to become active in the Republican Party to join our mailing list and attend our meetings. I would also urge those students who are generally unsure about politics to come to our meetings and see what we are about. The 2006 elections are quickly approaching and now is a perfect time to get involved.

I look forward to working with the BUCRs to ensure a successful year of Republican politics.

Joe Mroszczyk

President, BUCR
